America Tour Duration Guide: Choosing a Route from 5 to 12 Days

When planning a trip to America, the most important decision is not how many days you will set aside, but how you will make use of that time. Short and intensive itineraries stand out for those who only want to experience the rhythm of New York City, while those who want to see different cities on the same trip may prefer longer routes. Especially during the New Year period, New York’s lights, squares and Manhattan atmosphere offer the opportunity to enjoy even a short trip to the fullest.

In this guide, we compare options ranging from 5 nights to 11 nights to help you find the America itinerary that best suits your travel style. At the center is the New York New Year Tour 2027, departing on December 27, 2026.

5 Nights 7 Days: Discovering New York Without Losing Its Rhythm

If the time you can devote to America is limited, focusing on a single city is one of the most efficient choices. The 5-night, 7-day New York New Year Tour is designed for those who want to see Manhattan’s iconic landmarks together and experience the city’s atmosphere without rushing. The tour’s next departure date is December 27, 2026.

On the first day of the program, you depart for New York from Istanbul Airport on Turkish Airlines flight TK003. After arriving at JFK Airport at 10:55 a.m. local time, you are welcomed by the Amerika Rehberiniz team and transferred to the hotel by private vehicle. Since check-in is after 3:00 p.m., it is possible to spend the first hours by leaving your luggage at the hotel.

For guests who want to get acquainted with New York right away, an optional Midtown Manhattan city tour is available. This program highlights places that reflect the city’s character, such as Times Square, Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Bryant Park and Grand Central Terminal. Thus, the first day can become an opportunity to discover New York’s architectural and cultural fabric rather than a beginning devoted solely to rest.

The tour includes economy-class airfare with Turkish Airlines on the Istanbul–New York–Istanbul route, airport and mandatory taxes stated on the airline ticket, and 5 nights of accommodation at the hotel selected during the reservation. On short trips, planning flights, accommodation and the city program together allows you to use your time more efficiently.

7-8 Days: Combining New York with Other Cities

For those who want to experience New York’s energy alongside different city experiences, the Eastern America Tour – Miami, Orlando and New York offers a 7-night, 8-day program. This route combines New York’s urban culture with Miami’s beach and neighborhood atmosphere and Orlando’s entertainment-oriented character.

The program includes visits to areas with different personalities, such as Miami Beach, Ocean Drive, Lincoln Road, Little Havana, Wynwood and the Design District. After traveling to Orlando by road, experiences such as Winter Park and a boat tour are also included in the program. It is a balanced alternative for those who can set aside more time for their trip but do not want to embark on an overly intensive route covering all of America.

For those curious about the West Coast, the Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco Tour offers a 6-night, 7-day option. It brings together different urban identities in a single program, including Hollywood, the Walk of Fame, the Las Vegas Strip, the Golden Gate Bridge and Fisherman’s Wharf. Instead of New York, this route focuses on cinema, entertainment and city views on America’s West Coast.

9-12 Days: Seeing More Than One American Icon

If you can extend your trip, routes that include intercity travel in the program provide a more comprehensive experience. The Icons of America: New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas tour lasts 9 nights and 10 days. The program includes accommodation at 4-star hotels in New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas; a domestic flight from New York to Los Angeles and overland travel between Los Angeles and Las Vegas are provided. The next departure dates specified for this tour are January 6, 13 and 20, 2027.

For those who want to expand their American experience even further, The Pinnacle of America: New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco offers an 11-night, 12-day itinerary. In New York, places such as Central Park, Museum Mile, Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, Greenwich Village and Washington Square Park form the urban culture section of the program. Continuing with stops in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and San Francisco, this route appeals to travelers who want to compare different city atmospheres. The next departure dates for this tour are also specified as January 6, 13 and 20, 2027.

Which Duration Is More Suitable for You?

If, on your first trip to America, you want to explore a single city thoroughly, experience New York’s New Year atmosphere and avoid losing time to complicated city changes, the 5-night, 7-day New York tour is the most practical choice. In particular, the program departing on December 27, 2026, is suitable for those who want to discover Manhattan’s central landmarks through a guided and well-planned itinerary.

Those who want to fit different cities into the same trip can consider the 7-8-day East Coast route, while those looking for a cinema- and entertainment-themed trip can evaluate the West Coast option.
